Brad Thomas has over 24 years of experience in the commercial real estate brokerage, development and fixed income investment sectors and the majority of his experience has been in commercial real estate Net Lease sector. Over the years, Mr. Thomas has provided nationwide real estate brokerage, construction, development and capital market solutions for build-to-suit, reverse build-to-suit, re-development, and sale/leaseback clients. Mr. Thomas has worked directly with many nationwide retail and restaurant clients including many “best in class” Fortune 500 companies and representative of most retail categories such as automotive parts and service, office supply, drug store, dollar store, grocery store, and discount store companies. Mr. Thomas has completed over 400 new stores representing over 75 name brand retailers or restaurants.In addition, Mr. Thomas researches and writes on a variety of real estate based fixed- income alternatives including both publicly-traded and non-traded REITs. Given his background in originating income producing assets, Mr. Thomas has a broad background in capitalization and sustainable net lease investing. Mr. Thomas currently writes weekly articles for Seeking Alpha where he maintains “real time” research on many of the equity REITs and retailers. Specifically, Mr. Thomas enjoys writing on the shopping center, free-standing, and self-storage REIT sectors. As a student of Benjamin Graham (1894-1976), Mr. Thomas conducts all of his research, analytics, and writing based upon Mr. Graham’s principles and investment strategies. Mr. Thomas focuses his research on value investing and his primary objective is to determine whether “an investment operation is one which, upon thorough analysis promises safety of principal and adequate return. Operations not meeting these requirements are speculative.” (Security Analysis – Ben Graham)In addition to writing and lecturing, Mr. Thomas is an Advisor and Managing Director of Net Lease Investments with commercial brokerage firm Bull Realty, Inc. He was most recently Director of Strategic Markets for Embree Group and he was a Senior Vice President for Thompson National Properties, Phillips Edison, and Wilton Partners. Mr. Thomas was a partner in a regional development company and also a multi-unit franchisee for 2 International franchisors. Mr. Thomas has also consulted for several non-traded REITs and he is currently a contributing author for Seeking Alpha and Forbes. Mr. Thomas has been a licensed real estate agent in South Carolina for over 23 years and he has provided Net Lease strategies for a variety of lecture and industry relevant forums. He maintains a current industry database of over 50 national retailers who are expanding facilities nationwide. Given his broad background in design, construction, development, finance, and capital markets, Mr. Thomas has become an expert in creating sustainability in the Net Lease industry. Mr. Thomas received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Economics from Presbyterian College and he has been a member of ICSC for over 23 years.

He began his career providing psychological care to a wide-range of clientele — through private practice, medical centers and other organizations, state-wide. He has served as co-Director of the Independent Child Study Teams, Inc. in Jersey City, and also as Director of the Adolescent Counseling Center of Somerset County. In 1977 he founded the Rossi Psychological Group, P.A, where — as CEO — he oversees a group comprised of over 50 licensed psychologists and medical professionals possessing expertise in specialized clinical areas. The Rossi Psychological Group is now also an affiliate of Vericare, the largest behavioral health company in the U.S.

Throughout the years he has worked with the New Jersey Parole Board Psychological Evaluations of Inmates, the New Jersey Department of Corrections [for the specialized training of 6,000+ Corrections Officers], the Hudson County Employee Assistance Program, and has been a Keynote speaker for the American Psychological Association Annual Practice Directorate Meeting [with representatives from all 50 states.]

Dr. Rossi received his B.A. in psychology at Parson’s College, (Iowa), M.A., in clinical psychology at the University of Dayton (Ohio), M.A. in General-Theoretical psychology at Fordham University, (NY) and his Ph.D. in General-Theoretical Psychology at Fordham University (NY). He is a member of the American Psychological Association, New Jersey Psychological Association (former board member), and the New Jersey Association for the Advancement of Psychology (former chairperson). He is married, with two daughters, and lives in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. He enjoys skiing and golf.
