THE GEORGE JARKESY SHOW WELCOMES CHUCK KIRKPATRICK AND DARIA DIGIOVANNI FROM THE PEOPLE’S VOTE. RICK MANNING OF AMERICANS FOR LIMITED GOVERNMENT ALSO JOINS THE SHOW.
Our Founders believed that every citizen should be an active participant in the daily governance of America. And over the past 3 – 5 years, their desire to participate has increased in record numbers. Today, if Voters want to contact their elected officials, they use telephone, email, faxes, blogs, letters, postcards, website comment forms, facebook postings, and tweets. These “catch all” methods are frustrating to use and not designed to support millions of simultaneous inquiries, nor can they produce sorted and cataloged analytical data.
The need for our system was evident on June 26th 2011 when President Obama urged citizens to contact Congress concerning the stalled debt ceiling negotiations. The next morning angry citizens backed up the Washington switchboard for hours and crashed many of the Legislator websites due to overload. Other than create chaos and add to voter frustration, no valid results were obtained. ThePeoplesVote.com is the solution.
Our System creates non partisan, unbiased ”Advisory Propositions,” at the federal, state and local level in which citizens can learn about and cast votes “online” on the most popular public policies, before they become law. With our Report Generator, Legislators can then create valuable voter trend reports utilizing 20 different data points so they know exactly how their Constituents expect to be represented.
The Political Parties campaign on wanting to involve citizens in the decision making process. With ThePeoplesVote.com this will be easy to do.
